Health Promoting School Project, co-organized by United Christian Nethersole Community Health Service, hospitals and schools in Tai Po and Kwun Tong district, is a project aimed at promoting health education in school and advocate healthy lifestyle. Through this program, we hope to assist students, teaching staff and parents to develop a healthy way of living.

Mission

To promote healthy lifestyle among students, teaching staff and parents.

 Features
　 Partnership comprising school, hospital and community health service.
　 Medical professionals will provide volunteer consultation service to all participating schools. We also have a full time staff responsible for the co-ordination work.
　 With the support from hospital and UCNCHS, we can promote the concept of health school through active participation of all parties and projects.

Project Content

To achieve the objective,“health for all”, participating schools can promote health on diversity of themes such as diet, physical exercise, mental health, emotional development, inter-personal relationship, environmental health, smoking and drug abuse, etc. They can disseminate health messages through incorporating health topics in formal curriculum or organize different extra curricula activities such as exhibition, competition, carnival, volunteer works, etc.
